I am 54, living in New Jersey and have a ridiculously rare muscle disease called Hereditary Inclusion Body Myopathy which now has me in a powerchair. I left my job as a fraud investigator a while back then four years ago returned to school and got certified to teach English as a second language. I currently hold classes online to keep busy. I’m a big sci-fi fan and love animals (I have had dozens of pets through the years). I like watching stand-up comedy. I’m divorced as my EX informed me I’m holding her back from doing what she wants since I am in the wheelchair. No real expectations here but someone to chat with is a great start.
