I'm 52 and a 10 year Army veteran. Not a Combat vet but I'm proud of myself for serving even though I walked away with a disability. That disability is epilepsy. I was an M-1 tank mechanic and Recovery vehicle operator. 2 of the 3 best jobs I've ever had in my life, the other being a Forklift operator. I've always loved getting my hands dirty and I would have done 20 years in the Army if I would have been allowed. I'm unable to drive and I'm new to Leominster but I do love the town. Boston was much too expensive, although fun. This year I'm going to my first Marathon Monday since that idiot blew it up 3 years ago. I was in Copley square at the time. I wasn't injured but it did scare the hell out of me and it took me awhile to work up the courage to go to another. I'm an average guy, I think I have a good sense of humor and I don't believe my life is close to being over. I'd like to think I can mean something to someone.
